Tips & Tricks

  • Keyframes are the secret — set a shape's position at frame 0, move the playhead forward, add another keyframe with a new position, and watch it animate!
  • The timeline at the bottom shows all your keyframes as diamonds — click to jump to any frame
  • Use the FPS and Duration controls in the timeline bar to change animation speed and length
  • Change the background color with the BG color picker in the timeline bar
  • Ctrl+D duplicates the selected object — great for making copies
  • The up/down arrows in the Objects panel change which shape appears in front
